Bringing Equality Through Education

SAFE Wings is a grassroots movement dedicated to providing dignified education to poor, oppressed, and underprivileged students across castes and religions. Rooted in the vision of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Savitribai Phule, Shahu Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, our projects are grounded in social justice and educational upliftment.

  1. Educational Adoption Programme

Our flagship initiative focuses on long-term academic support for students from marginalized backgrounds.

Key Features:

  • Full payment of school fees, uniforms, textbooks, and related academic expenses.
  • Admission assistance into quality schools.
  • Documentation and form support during the admission process.
  • Regular home and school visits to monitor academic and personal development.
  1. Academic Monitoring and Mentorship

We believe education doesn’t stop at school. Students admitted through our program are supported at home as well.

Support Includes:

  • Daily one-hour home tutoring.
  • Dedicated mentoring teams focusing on Mathematics, English, and Logical Reasoning.
  • Monthly progress reviews with teachers, principals, and parents.
  1. Private Tuition Support

To ensure no student falls behind, we offer after-school tuition classes.

  • In 2021-22, 17 students received daily two-hour tutoring.
  • Classes are conducted at Sant Kabir Nagar by our dedicated volunteers.
  1. Board Exam Coaching

Special academic support is provided to students in Grade 10 preparing for board exams.

  • Focused subject coaching.
  • In 2021-22, three students from Sant Kabir Nagar were supported through this program.
  1. RTE Admission Support

We assist families in securing admissions under the Right to Education Act.

  • Organizing RTE awareness and admission camps.
  • Guiding families through the complex form-filling and documentation process.
  1. Community Outreach and Support Activities

Beyond the classroom, we work to create a holistic ecosystem for student success.

Activities Include:

  • Distribution of school materials to needy students.
  • Organizing regular seminars with students and parents.
  • Psychological and social support for students in vulnerable conditions.
  • Instilling the values of Phule, Shahu, Ambedkar, Savitribai, and Shivaji Maharaj in young minds.
  1. Our Reach So Far

Academic Year 2022-23:

  • 8 students academically adopted and enrolled in quality schools in Nashik.
  • Complete financial responsibility taken up by SAFE Wings.

SAFE Wings is more than an educational NGO. It is a mission to transform society by empowering the most vulnerable through the power of education. Every student supported is a seed of change for a better tomorrow.
