Who We Are
SAFE Wings – Saving A Future through Empowerment – is a movement born out of the historic struggle for social justice. We are an institution dedicated to providing dignified, inclusive, and quality education to students from oppressed, underprivileged, and marginalized communities.
Our work is not charity; it is reparative justice. Inspired by the legacy of visionaries like Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Mahatma Jyotirao Phule, Savitrimai Phule, Shahu Maharaj, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, we aim to dismantle structural barriers and empower students with the tools they need to rise.
SAFE Wings was formally established on 6th January 2022, and has been growing as a grassroots force that combines financial support, psychological empowerment, and systemic advocacy for educational equity.
Our Vision
“Empowering every underprivileged student to unlock their potential through equitable and dignified education, fostering a future where all individuals have the opportunity to thrive.”
We envision a society where no child is left behind, where the light of education reaches every slum, rural village, and forgotten community. Dignity, not pity, drives our approach.
Our Mission
“To provide access to quality education for underprivileged students by offering resources, mentorship, and support systems. We strive to create an inclusive environment that nurtures learning, builds confidence, and promotes lifelong success, ensuring that every student can pursue their dreams with dignity and respect.”
We work through:
- Educational sponsorships
- Mentorship and life coaching
- Emotional and psychological support
- Skill-building and career guidance
- Community engagement and awareness
Our Inspiration
SAFE Wings stands on the shoulders of giants—revolutionaries who redefined what dignity and equality mean in India:
- Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar – who gave the oppressed a voice, a constitution, and a path through education.
- Mahatma Jyotirao Phule – who sowed the seeds of social reform through education for all castes.
- Savitrimai Phule – the first female teacher, a fierce advocate for girls’ education.
- Shahu Maharaj – the pioneer of reservations and inclusive education.
- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj – a ruler with vision, justice, and unwavering respect for all faiths and communities.
These legends guide every step we take.
